I was born in February consequentially my star sigh is a Pisces . Some of you may or may not believe in that kind of thing but Pisceans are supposedly gentle dreamers who are hopeless romantics
I've always had this belief that my life was somehow meant to be used to make the world a better, brighter place. What better way than to bring happiness into the world with food.
I haven't posted for a while because were all human and go through the ups and downs of life but I feel that writing my blog has given me a way to express myself and all the millions of thoughts that race through my head on a regular basis.
I wonder how people come up with ideas for cakes, cookies, decorations, flavors of food.
Did you know that carrots were originally purple? Amazing is the world that we live In that ignites such passion and creativity into everyone's lives.
I see it every day at my work place, how simple ingredients turn into creations and treats that make your nose curl up or make your tummy rumble with delight.
I recently gave a demonstration to a young lady who has no desire or idea about cooking, she feared she may burn her kitchen down, but once I showed her something simple as using a knife it was cool to see her eyes light up with happiness at the thought that she could actually do something she never dreamed of.
We look at food and the first thing we acknowledge is whether or not it looks appealing enough to try.
Today someone told me our sticky toffee pudding that was served for lunch did not look appetizing but I encouraged them to try it and they loved it .
Sometimes the packaging is not as great as the actual product but we live and learn by trying.
I say try everything once and if you don't like you never have to have it again!!!
This is how I realized I really don't like avocado .
