What doesn't kill you probable makes your waistline bigger!
I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but life gets a little busy sometimes.
I realized today how much I actually miss writing and sharing my fun experiences with food.
This post I'm writing especially because its women's month .
I haven't had anything super fancy lately or any pictures to post but something that has been on my mind especially because I have lots of conversations with women daily and you hear things like "I can't eat that or that's going to make me fat". I'm one of those women too-guilty.
In a world where society kind of paints a picture of the perfect body, breasts, thighs, legs ( I have really skinny legs which has always been super weird for me) it's impossible to have a positive body image 100 percent of the time or even 50 percent for that matter.
What I've realized is that you can be any body shape, type, structure and sometimes it will never be enough but the trick is to look in the mirror and say "Damn I'm amazing!!!"
Marilyn Monroe was curvaceous and an icon for women. Chrissy Teigen shows her stretch marks In social media with no problem at all.
All in all I think that it's okay to have that slice of pizza or eat that ice cream or indulge by having that chocolate.
I've spent days where I Calorie count and at the end of the day calculate in my head whether or not my jeans will fit me the next day.
I say live a healthy and happy life but not at the expense of never indulging a little bit!!!
Have a great week my foodie friends
